Background & Context
Artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping productivity, automation and workforce requirements. Across the African market there is still a critical accessibility gap: most AI education is overly theoretical, priced in US dollars, or aimed only at software engineers.
Morningstar AI conceived PromptLabs Academy as a lightweight, accessible LMS and training initiative. Built to work on high-latency and bandwidth-constrained networks, it connects non-technical professionals, entrepreneurs and students with modern AI automation.
The Challenges
- The technical barrier: Most AI training platforms assume programming knowledge (Python, machine learning maths), which deters the non-technical professionals who stand to gain most.
